Jakob Dahlqvist

I work as an engineer and analyst within the unit Sustainability Analytics. I hold a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and a master's degree in Material's chemistry. My interests and focus areas are centered around circular economy and systems thinking by working on technical, social and organizational aspects and challenges for sustainable transition. After getting the opportunity to explore work within Net-Zero and radical innovation thinking, I have now transitioned into mixing my engineering background with sustainability theory and circular economy. I strive to always push to discover the potential limits for what is practically possible to achieve within a more sustainable world. 

My mixed background is also reflected in my project portfolio. I have participated in multiple Horizon Europe projects within the bioeconomy area, with focus on systemizing knowledge transfer and learning across actors in multiple European countries. Other examples of areas include shared spaced in residential buildings, sustainable water and PFAS. I enjoy mixing and understanding both technical and non-technical aspects to create a full picture of the challenges our society faces and use this to create useful impact for my projects and partners.
