I work mainly with the Deplide research platform. Deplide is a digital platform that stores timestamps with metadata from trains with cargo. Though, it is possible to store other transport entities as well. Deplide uses Apache Kafka as the primary technology. To integrate the world with Kafka we use Spring Boot and Kafka Connect.
