I am an experienced researcher in the field of Flavour Chemistry at the Department of Food Research and Innovation. Before joining RISE, I worked as a flavour development analyst in the R&D department at Döhler GmbH, a flavour house in Germany.
Throughout my career, I have worked across academia, the flavour industry, and research institutes, gaining broad experience with a wide range of products and their flavour profiles.
At RISE, one of my main focus areas is solving challenges related to undesirable or desirable smells in materials such as food and beverages, hygiene products, and packaging materials among others. I investigate which specific compounds are responsible for the perceived smells - and, where they come from.
If you are experiencing an unknown smell in your product, contact me so we can identify the problem and find a solution together. I also welcome questions related to flavour chemistry in general including, analytical techniques such as gas chromatography, olfactometry, and mass spectrometry.
