Kontakta SeyedVi är glada att meddela att Applikationscenter för additiv tillverkning på RISE organiserar konferensen Additive Intelligence 4.0 tillsammans med centrets partner. Vi välkomnar dig att delta den 31 maj - 1 juni i Göteborg!
Under 2018 och 2019 organiserade RISE konferensen Additive Intelligence 4.0 som var mycket uppskattad. Nu vill vi återigen erbjuda dig de senaste forskningsresultaten, trenderna och industriella exemplen på hur additiv tillverkning stärker svensk industri.
Konferensen adresserar alla delar av värdekedjan inom additiv tillverkning, från konstruktion och produktutveckling, utveckling av material och dess egenskaper, till själva tillverkningen och efterföljande processer såsom bearbetning, yt- och värmebehandling och kvalitetssäkring.
Digitalisering är en naturlig del av additiv tillverkning, vilket också öppnar för att använda olika digitala verktyg för att bland annat övervaka och förebygga eventuella avvikelser vid tillverkning. För att kunna ta steget från prototyptillverkning till en fullskalig produktion är områden som arbetsmiljö, hälsa, säkerhet och standarder viktiga element och som behöver beaktas.

Torbjörn Larsson, who has worked at Volvo Cars for 39 years. Torbjörn has more than 22 years of experience in AM and in addition to supporting his management team in various technical issues, he also works as Technical Advisor across VCC within Additive Manufacturing, Holds various internal and external AM investigations and represents VCC in various AM forums such as: CAM2, AM Center @ RISE, TK563, and SVEAT.
Greta Lindwall is an associate professor at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at KTH. Her focus is on computational materials design and alloy development for AM, in particular on AM of steels.
Matthew Smyth is a Canadian working in Sweden for Stora Enso to develop new methods for creating circularity with their products. Matthew has a background in material science and plastic engineering and has worked with developing Stora Enso’s biocomposites for 3D printing and injection moulding.
Adjunct Associate Professor in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Linkoping University and member of the SweNanoSafe expert panel. Main research area is environmental pollutants and exposure-related health risks
Oskar Bruce, works as VP Operations, Head of Operations Development in Alfa Laval. He has more than 20 yrs of working experience from Alfa Laval at different Production Management and Technology Development roles. Engaged in Alfa Laval initiatives within AM since 2018.
Prof. Joerg Volpp studied in Stuttgart (Germany). During his studies, he worked for the IFSW in Stuttgart and as an intern for Bosch GmbH in Charleston, SC (USA). He finished his diploma thesis at Bosch GmbH, Schwieberdingen (Germany) in 2011 in the field of laser welding of steels. From 2011 till 2017, he worked for BIAS GmbH in Bremen (Germany) in the field of laser deep penetration welding and received his PhD in 2017. Ralf Frohwerk has worked more than 20 years for Bruss an international automotive Tier 1 supplier of high-performance sealing systems for powertrain application in several different management positions. Prior to joining SLM Solutions, Ralf Frohwerk was the Sales Director for Micro Poise Measurement Systems, which is a global leader of tire testing and X-ray machines. Since May 2015, Ralf Frohwerk is in charge of the global Business Development at SLM Solutions Group AG.
Andreas started at ABB STAL in the capacity of welding engineer efter his master thesis. In 2009, the company, then part of the Siemens group, invested into a first metal printer. Andreas became the manager for additive manufacturing in the Siemens AM Center of Competence. He participated in building up the first dedicated workshop for AM in 2015. Now employee at Siemens Energy, after 28 years of experience in manufacturing, Andreas co-manages the company’s innovation coach network.
Works as Global Strategy and Business Development Director for AM at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence. In his role, he coordinates technical and business development with stakeholders across its manufacturing intelligence and industrial markets. Based in France, and has more than 20 years experience in the modelling and simulation of manufacturing processes witha specific focus on metals.
Studied electrochemistry at the University of Vienna. Since 2018 he works in the R&D department at RENA Technologies Austria GmbH. He develops processes for the post-processing of additively manufactured components, which are known under the term Hirtisation®. His focus is on processes for nickel-based alloys and various types of steel. He knows the potential of additive manufacturing technologies and the importance of post-processing for a successful part production.
Professor of Construction Materials at Linköping University
Laura finished her PhD in January 2020 at the University of Twente, the Netherlands on powder handling for laser powder bed fusion process. Her work focused on aerospace materials like titanium, aluminum and nicke based alloys due to the close link to NLR (Dutch Aerospace Center). At the end of 2019 she joined the Fraunhofer Project Center, where she worked as research engineer and project manager of Additive Manufacturing. She joined Chalmers in spring of 2021.
Sepehr Hatami completed his MSc degree in materials processing from KTH, and obtained his phd in 2010 in the field of powder metallurgy from Chalmers. Since 2015, he has been part of the additive manufacturing group at RISE, with a focus on powder and mechanical properties.
Senior Lecturer at the dept. of product development, at Lund University. Axel research focus is within design for AM and generative design and he is leading the work at the AM-lab at the design center at the University.
Eduard Hryha is Professor in Powder Metallurgy and Metal Additive Manufacturing at the Department of Industrial and Materials Science, Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. He is also director of the Competence Centre for Metal Additive Manufacturing – Metal that involves more than 30 national and international research and industrial partners focusing on powder-based metal additive manufacturing (AM).
Maria Assenhöj: Occupational Hygienist at Occupational and Environmental Medicine Center in Linköping and PhD student at Linköping University. Main research area is metal exposure and health effects within metal industries.
Jim is Manager for Global Business Development for speciality high pressure equipment manufacturer Quintus Technologies, working with HIP and High Pressure Heat Treatment with a focus on Additive Manufacturing, Castings, Powder Near Net Shape and Metal Injection Moulding for all manner of alloys. Co-chair for European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) HIP committee
Denis has more than 25 years of experience in Powder Metallurgy, and joined Höganäs as Technical Sales Engineer. Since 2009 he has been workin in different positions at Höganäs, and currently he is Heading R&D and Application Engineering Team of Product Area Customization Technologies. (he got his PhD related to sintering stainless steels 2006)
Anders Palmquist is a Professor at the Department of Biomaterials, Institute of Clinical Sciences, Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg. His main research interest is to understand the structural mechanisms and maintenance of osseointegration. His international standing and impact on the field of bomaterials are illustrated by his publications record inluding 90 originals reviewed articles, 11 per reviewed articles published in top journals in the field.
Hans Kimblad is Head of Technology at Digital Metal, and has more than 16 years of experience of powder metallurgy, out of which 11 of them has been focused on metal binder jetting.
After several years working as a research engineer on both powder and wire based DED, focusing on industrial parts manufacturing, Thomas joined the AddUp team in October 2021. He now works to support large scale adoption of DED machines and technology through process optimization and materials development.
Paul works as Key Account Manager – Northern Europe at AddUp and has previously worked for the industrial engineering group FIVES in Fransce and North America. Paul joined addup, join-venture of FIVES and Michelon who designs and builds metal AM machines in PBF and DED as well as being a one-stop shop for metal 3D-parts.
Benjamin Haas is the Product Manager at SLM Solutions responsible for the portfolio of metal materials and parameters. Besides identifying new material trends, he is responsible for driving maturity of existing alloys as well as new developments such as Free Float. Prior to joining SLM Solutions, Benjamin Haas studied Industrial Engineering with a focus on material science at TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
