SAIS 2022
The 34th edition of the annual workshop of the Swedish AI Society was hosted by the Center for Applied AI at RISE in June 2022.
SAIS2022 took place on June 13-14 in Stockholm, Sweden and was organised as a hybrid event. We are happy to mention that in total 90 people (70 on-site) participated, from 28 different organisations including most Swedish universities and 12 companies. 48 contributions were received. Among 15 submissions to the full paper track, 10 were accepted and 9 included in the IEEE Xplore proceedings. The rest of the submissions were extended abstracts, including 8 Ph.D. projects and 3 industrial applications presentations.
SAIS workshops aim to increase the awareness of different AI research activities in Sweden and increase the scientific quality of AI research through sharing experiences, discussions, and feedback. To achieve these goals, we invited three keynote speakers, organised a panel discussion, offered a Ph.D. mentorship program, and accommodated several oral and poster presentations.
Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to all the authors who submitted their work, and to presenters and participants who guaranteed the success of the workshop by their active presence. We would like to thank the program committee and reviewers, as well as mentors, session chairs, tech organiser and administrator. Our special thanks to the highly reputable keynote speakers, Amy Loutfi, Barbara Plank, and Erik Coelingh as well as our well respected panelists, Daniel Gillblad, Hanifeh Khayyeri, Irene Ek, and Jessica Svennebring.
