Stina has over 20 year experience in the Battery Sector ranging from building a completely new battery including cell design, electrode manufacturing to material recycling and performance testing.
She has worked with selecting anode, cathode, electrolyte and separator materials by their content, supplier quality and reliability, cost and process stability from lab scale up to industrial scale. Important is also the evaluation of the materials and their performance in products by electrical performance evaluation, post-mortem analysis, deeper material characterization before and after testing and other methods suitable for extracting the needed information to improve performance of the materials. In upscaling it is important to evaluate the production process and identification of variations and influence on materials and how it affects the performance. To optimize the functionality of the Battery Management System and the longevity of a complete battery system it is also important to know the long term ageing factors influencing the materials and how to improve the materials to withstand that operation.
