RISE offers type testing and quality assurance of wood boilers, pellet boilers and pellet burners. RISE performs SWEDAC accredited measurements of performance and emissions for wood boilers, pellet boilers and pellet burners.
We offer an independent, nationally unique and accredited test lab with experienced employees, who have extensive knowledge in solid fuel heating equipment. Our testing experts are also active in standardisation work, which gives us good insight into the regulations.
RISE offers testing and certification of wood boilers, pellet boilers and pellet burners according to
New wood and pellet boilers that use solid fuels, such as wood, pellets and briquettes, have to have an energy label. The idea of energy labeling is to make it easier for consumers to make energy-smart choices, so that they can choose an efficient product with low wood or pellet consumption. In addition, in 2020 energy labeling will be supplemented by an eco-design requirement from the EU with requirements for efficiency and emissions, which will reduce emissions from small-scale heating. Properly used and with efficient equipment, small-scale solid fuel will contribute to achieve climate and energy policy goals, since the fuel is renewable.
Testing is carried out in RISE's own combustion lab in Borås by experienced staff. The testing results can be used as basis for certification.
The measurement results are analysed and presented in a testing report in the desired language.
