How do today's investments, innovations, and decisions shape the future and how could a sustainable wood industry look like in 10, 25, or even 100 years? Welcome to a full-day experience at the LIGNA fair in Germany.
The conference will be held in English.
Join us for a day where we explore technology integrated today and how visions of the future, emerging technologies, and new mindsets shape a sustainable, intelligent, and emotionally resonant forests value change.
At the conference you will be exposed to present-day innovations that could give a hint of what’s to come. What could be the possibilities when systems are truly integrated - how could that transform the value chain and create a more sustainable future?
You will hear key notes from different actors in the value chain and join a discussion about how a digital ecosystem of different tech, innovations and knowledge can be interconnected. Together we will visualize how this connected ecosystem could look like in the future and open our minds to the possibilities of creating a more sustainable wood industry.
During the event a prototype will be unveiled, offering a vision of a future where reused wood is standard practice. Each material is accompanied by a digital product passport, infused with technical data and built with emotional context.
Sign up for the event today. We offer lunch to the first 50 people who sign up, so don't wait!
The conference is presented by RISE and moderated by Point and is part of the ENTER and Forest Value Change projects.
The conference is held during the LIGNA fair in Hannover, Germany. LIGNA is the world's leading trade fair for the woodworking and wood processing industry and will be held from 26-30 May 2025.
