Contact CeciliaWelcome to a lunch seminar introducing SSTI - a new membership initiative currently being launched, bringing together stakeholders from across Sweden’s surface treatment industry. The goal is to foster collaboration and drive innovation toward a more sustainable future. The program is coordinated by RISE.
SSTI (Sustainable Surface Treatment Industry) is a new national collaboration program focused on research, development, and knowledge exchange in surface treatment processes. The program addresses key areas such as industrialization, legislation, and sustainable manufacturing.
This initiative builds on previous publicly funded collaborations between industry, government agencies, and research organizations. These efforts have clearly demonstrated that collaboration is essential to achieving both the industry's and Sweden’s sustainability goals—while also strengthening competitiveness.
Launching in 2025, the program will focus on four main areas:
During the seminar, you’ll get an introduction to SSTI’s background, structure, and planned activities—as well as information on how to become a member and contribute to the initiative.
The seminar is open to everyone, but especially relevant for those working in or interested in sustainability and surface treatment.
The seminar will be held in English.
We warmly welcome your registration!
If you have any questions about SSTI, feel free to contact one of our team members.
