Welcome to Gothenburg and EVS38!

In June 2025, Gothenburg will host EVS38 - the world's leading forum for electromobility. RISE is a partner and key player in the event.

Since 1969, the International Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exhibition (EVS) has brought together academia, industry and the public sector to drive developments in electric mobility.

It brings together experts and decision makers in areas such as

  • Electrified vehicles on land water and in the air
  • Batteries, hydrogen and fuel cells
  • Urban development and infrastructure
  • Connected and autonomous transport solutions
  • Policy, regulation and the future of mobility

EVS38 will be one of the largest events to date with

  • 11,000 participants from over 70 countries
  • More than 350 speakers on multiple stages
  • Over 250 lectures at the scientific conference
  • Around 300 exhibitors in a 20,000 m² exhibition

Meet the RISE experts at EVS38!

Take the opportunity to meet some of Sweden's leading researchers and experts in electrification and sustainable transport. We invite you to inspiring conversations about the transport solutions of the future, where our specialists will share the latest insights, moderate important discussions and present research results on the scientific stage. RISE is also organising several events within the EVS conference programme (see programme tab below).
