RISE Fire Research AS
RISE Fire Research AS (RISEFR, owned 70 % by RISE - Research Institutes of Sweden and 30 % by SINTEF) is located south of Trondheim, Norway, and we are Norway's fire technical competence centre. RISEFR was founded in 1934, and for over 85 years, we have worked for increased fire safety in society. RISEFR is an approved research institute by the Research Council of Norway. We coordinate several research projects funded by the EU, the Research Council of Norway, the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection, and industry partners, including the research centre FRIC and the H2020 project DRYADS.
