With a transition to more sustainable products and vehicles, we see increased focus on the manufacturing emissions.
Production with fossil free energy, efficient resource utilization and smart maintenance is dependent on innovative manufacturing processes. We need advanced manufacturing and automation to improve circularity in the value flow and allow combination of manufacturing and remanufacturing lines.

The conference is organised by the clusters together with leading R&D performers in Sweden. Main organisers are the automotive industry in Sweden in collaboration with the Vehicle Components Group, RISE, SuPr/Södertälje Science Park, Production2030 and FFI.
Our vision is to develop economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable manufacturing systems that are capable of effectively supplying the market with innovative products of the future. For this purpose, the Swedish automotive industry has initiated a structure for coordination of research and development - The Swedish Manufacturing R&D Clusters.
