RED and the EU’s New Cybersecurity Requirements for Radio Equipment
Welcome to RISE’s seminar (in SWEDISH) on May 23.
We will present the EU's upcoming cybersecurity requirements under the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) and discuss how best to prepare your business for these changes. Please note that the seminar will be held in Swedish.
As digitalisation continues to accelerate, so does the risk of cyberattacks targeting connected products. The EU is introducing new binding cybersecurity requirements under the Radio Equipment Directive (RED), affecting all manufacturers, importers and distributors of products with radio components, from smart machines to connected vehicles.
From August 2025, it will be mandatory for manufacturers to ensure their radio equipment complies with these requirements. RISE, as a Notified Body, can support you with both technical assessments and the issuance of EC Type-Examination Certificates.
