Contact SaraThe digitisation of the electricity grid, increased cyber threats and an uncertain security policy situation are making our electricity system more vulnerable than ever. To meet the challenges of the future, new solutions are needed – smart, flexible and robust. This is what we will be exploring during this year's Powerful Innovation Days. Welcome!
Ludvika is often described as Sweden's leading energy city with its major focus on solar power. The surplus from solar power is stored in a battery in Krafttanken, one of the world's two largest transformer boxes. Thanks to this energy storage facility, Ludvika can ensure energy supply to critical social functions in the event of a crisis. RISE and High Voltage Valley are now inviting you to an operational conference in Ludvika, where you will have the opportunity to discuss future energy issues and experience the energy storage facility in practice!
The purpose of the conference is to discuss secure energy supply that can withstand crises and cyber attacks. What opportunities and challenges do we see? What are the solutions of the future? You will also hear about several inspiring examples. Read more about the programme under the ‘Programme’ tab below.
Accommodation is recommended at Grand Hotel Elektra in Ludvika, which offers a special price of SEK 1,425 per room per night. It is also possible to join the conference group dinner at the hotel on Thursday, 27 November at 6:30 p.m. The price for a three-course dinner is SEK 395 per person.
