Through the Mistra SafeChem project, RISE and IVL invite you to a full-day conference where we take a deep dive into the theme Safe and Sustainable by Innovation, with a focus on chemical safety.

Innovation is crucial for the green transition. We must take into account both chemical safety and sustainability throughout the entire value chain. This full-day conference brings together leading experts, innovators, industry, and policymakers to address a pressing question: How can we integrate safety and sustainability into innovation right from the start?

Despite ambitious goals in Sweden and the EU, sustainability and chemical safety are still often addressed separately. As a result, the potential for real impact is not fully realized.
