Governance innovation Sweden (GOVIS)
Our society face grand challenges which indicate that Sweden’s current system of governance is inadequate, and have been developed in a different era, shaped by less complexity. Through GOVIS we mobilise actors from all of society, to innovate Swedish governance and shape well-functioning, effective organising systems to create a sustainable future for us all.
Governance Innovation Sweden is a national hub for dialogue and knowledge-building that facilitate and inspire new forms of governance. GOVIS was initiated in 2021, with the aim to increase our capacity to utilize innovative governance, so that we can leverage complex societal changes to transform, instead of being defeated by them. GOVIS is located in the gaps between organisations and actors, and we invite people from all parts of society to participate, to create better conditions for an effective and value-driven future governance system.
