Policy Lab Water Resources Act

"Water Resources Act - a possible path to local and regional stakeholder collaboration to prevent and minimize risks in catchment area" brings together stakeholders in a real catchment area, the Kävlingån river basin, for dialogue and collaboration in a policy lab around proposals for the development of a new water resources act.

The project is led by RISE other partners are  Lund University and the drinking water company Sydvatten. The project is conducted in near collaboration with Kävlingeåns Water Board. In addition, a large number of other stakeholders are involved.

To create an inclusive development process, policylab is used as a method. The project will last approximately 10 months.

The project results are presented in the form of a final report with the three parts: orientation for a new water resources law (what could be included in a new legislation, boundaries, goals and purpose of the law, assessment of consequences, etc.), support for developed regulatory application and any other suggestions the project may have.
