Marielle Henriksson
Projektledare, PhD

Marielle is a material researcher with expertise in biobased and synthetic polymeric materials, primarily composite materials such as biocomposites, nanocomposites and glued wood products. The research is applied and close to applications and includes new applications with nanocellulose, fire protection for wood, and biobased composites for building and automotive applications, for example.
Marielle manages RISE's knowledge platform for the development of biobased and durable materials for the built environment (EcoBuild). The knowledge platform focuses on wood protection (through surface treatment, impregnation and wood modification) wood adhesive/adhesion, and biocomposites.
Marielle also manages RISE's knowledge platform Biomaterial Scale-up Center (BISC) that gathers RISE's competences to support our customers and research partners in the upscaling and demonstration of new biobased materials.
