Ann-Christine’s research fields is thermochemical conversion, with a focus on pyrolysis and gasification, as well as upgrading of intermediates. The research includes both renewable and waste materials, with the aim of producing sustainable chemicals, fuels, and materials. The projects range from fundamental experimental work at laboratory and bench scale to more applied research at pilot scale, up to TRL 6. Ann-Christine leads the pyrolysis research at the unit Sustainable Resouce Conversion unit and is involved in the research projects both as a project leader and as a researcher. The results are regularly presented on international conferences and published in scientific peer reviewed journals.
