RISE is an independent, state-owned research institute. The Division of Bioscience and Materials has strong activities in the field of formulation for biologics both in publicly funded projects and in proprietary industrial contracts. We work with liquid and solid formulation, protein interactions at interfaces, fibrillation, as well as novel formulation platforms that enhance protein stability and formulation of probiotics. RISE promotes the innovation capacity within the industry, acts as a link between academia and industry and translates basic science into innovations with benefits for industry and society.

The Biofilms – Research Center for Biointerfaces at MAU includes strong research groups within the Material and Life Sciences with several research projects in close collaboration with national and international companies.
