About the Battery Regulation

The regulation applies to all types of batteries, was adopted in August 2023, and is now being implemented in several stages over the coming years. It includes requirements for market access in Europe (CE marking) and covers the entire battery lifecycle – from substance restrictions, safety and performance requirements to the handling of end-of-life batteries and the digital battery passport.

RISE is a complete provider of services within the Battery Regulation and offers training, guidance, and expert support to ensure compliance and market access.
