Knowledge Exchange Forum: TES Modelling & Integration
To develop truly innovative solutions that allow communities to balance the grid one building at a time, they need to be easily integrable into the built environment. However, each building is unique so modelling this integration may present a real challenge, not least since there is a wide array of tools and methodologies available.
To address this challenge, you are invited to join our upcoming Knowledge Exchange Forum. We will explore the Hystore and ThumbsUp projects to understand the challenges they encountered when modelling the integration of their compact thermal energy storage units. We will also examine the approaches, methods, and solutions they adopted, as well as the lessons learned throughout the process, including the use of blackbox, whitebox, and greybox modelling techniques.
