Over three days in Gothenburg, researchers, companies, and decision-makers gather to share knowledge, showcase innovations, and discuss the path toward a more circular and sustainable textile sector.
Supported by the European Commission’s Horizon Europe programme and the Circular-Biobased Europe initiative, and in collaboration with Textile ETP, Ecosystex brings together R&D projects across the textile sector. The aim is to build a long-term community that strengthens collaboration between project consortia and continues beyond the lifetime of individual projects.
What to expect:
Two days of insightful discussions, networking, and collaboration
Site visits at:
RISE – Research Institutes of Sweden, Textile Lab, Mölndal
RISE offers end-to-end support for research, development, and innovation – from concept to sustainable and competitive solutions. With deep expertise, test environments, and technical infrastructure, we support the entire value chain: from strategy, material selection, design, fiber and material development, testing, and certification to recycling.
During the visit, we will showcase our research infrastructure for melt spinning, wet spinning, yarn spinning, mechanical testing, chemical analysis, chemical recycling, and mechanical recycling. The visit includes bus transport from the conference venue to RISE in Mölndal, just outside Gothenburg, and back.
