Development  of Seed Embedding Technology for open field vegetable

vSET cultivation method is a bio-based, biodegradable seed treatment concept that protects crops against biotic and abiotic stresses.
The system has two main elements which allow precise seed placement in no-tilled and green-covered soils.

S&dB together with Nanne Kooiman (Netherlands) will lead the project.

Initially tested at Wageningen University's "Farm of the Future" - shown a considerable increase in crop quality and yields. vSET has sparked interest in the regenerative agriculture community that has led to a strategic development program with Sensus and Cambs farms (UK), the farming partner in this project.
