Research, development and production of semiconductors

The Electrum Laboratory is outstanding for fabrication and characterisation in the nano and micro scale, supporting the whole chain from education, research and development to prototyping and production.

  • The Electrum Laboratory is a fully equipped semiconductor process laboratory, with complete and highly qualitative process lines for device research and fabrication of components in a wide variety of materials.
  • This semiconductor process laboratory with 1300 m2 of clean-room area for electronic, MEMS, optoelectronic and SiC  processing is operated jointly by RISE Acreo and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). Furthermore, the laboratory provides post-process equipment, including state-of-the-art material characterization and electrical measurement equipment.
  • The Electrum Laboratory is ISO9000 certified.

RISE test and demo facilities Electrum Laboratory and ProNano are a part of Myfab – the Swedish micro- and nanofabrication network.
