Testing of vehicle heaters, oil fired boilers and kerosene stoves

RISE offers testing and quality assurance of vehicle heaters, oil fired boilers and kerosene stoves. We perform measurement of performance and emissions. We offer an independent, nationally unique and accredited test lab with experienced employees, who have a broad knowledge of equipment for combustion of liquid fuels.

Purpose

Testing is carried out in RISE's own combustion lab in Borås by experienced staff. We offer tests that can be used by manufacturers as a basis for CE marking of their products.

Method

RISE offers testing of vehicle heaters, oil fired boilers and kerosene stoves according to:

  • UN / ECE Regulation No 122 of the Economic Commission for Europe of the United Nations (UN/ECE) — Uniform technical prescriptions concerning the approval of vehicles of categories M, N and O with regard to their heating systems
  • EN 304 Heating boilers - Test code for heating boilers for atomizing oil burners
  • EN 303-2 Heating boilers - Part 2: Heating boilers with forced draught burners - Special requirements for boilers with atomizing oil burners
  • EN 1 Flued oil stoves with vaporizing burners
  • EN ISO 14895 Small craft - Liquid-fuelled galley stoves and heating appliances (ISO 14895:2016)
  • EN 13842 Oil fired forced convection air heaters - Stationary and transportable for space heating

 

Deliveries

The measurement results are analyzed and presented in a test report in Swedish or English.
