Adhesion test / Surface tensile strength test
On site adhesion test or surface tensile strength test
Purpose
To measure adhesion between layers, internal tensile strength or surface adhesion.
Method
Dollies are adhered to the prepared/relevant surface, which is then tested until the underlying material fails. With different drilling depths, adhesion and tensile strength can be analysed at different depths. Maximum 10 kN over an Ø 50 mm area.
Deliveries
The results are usually reported and analyzed in a written report. Provisional results can even be given directly after testing.
