Michele holds a double master’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from Milano Polytechnic Institute and Paris’ Ponts et Chaussées University, along with an advanced research master’s degree in Mechanics of Materials from Paris’ Ponts et Chaussées, and a PhD in Mechanics of Materials and Structures from the same university. He works in the Applied Mechanics department at RISE since October 2019 as a researcher. Prior to joining RISE, he had been working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Earthquake Engineering and Structural Dynamics laboratory at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland).
