Testing of weather resistance in textiles and coated materials

Through artificial weathering, you can, during controlled conditions, determine how well a textile material withstands the impact of external factors such as UV light, temperature, humidity, and rain.

Syfte

Accelerated weathering allows, during controlled conditions, enable an artificial environment where a textile material can be exposed to external stresses, such as UV light, temperature, and humidity. This is done to predict how the material ages over time.

Metod

RISE offer testing according to ISO 4892-2 and ISO 105-B10. Common evaluation after accelerated aging includes color fastness, but mechanical evaluation, such as tensile testing, can also be conducted.

Leverans

A report in Swedish or English covering the obtained results.
