Testing of concrete in our frost laboratory in Borås, where we have more than 30 frost cabinets.

Information about sample preparation at the laboratory
- Cubes are sawn 21 ± 1 days after casting (drilled cores are sawn ≥ 20 days after casting).
- Water saturation of samples will be done 7 days after sawing.
- Start of freezing and thawing will start 10 days after sawing.
Sawing can only be done on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
It is important that samples arrive at the laboratory before the age of 19 days to assure correct preparation of samples.
National holidays might affect the testing procedure as preparation and testing can not be done on correct days. Please contact us for information if national holidays might affect the test procedure of your samples.
Deviations from the standard will be mentioned in the test report.
