Contact Fredrik PThe construction industry is one of the industries that uses the most plastic, and the demands for circularity and sustainability are increasing. In this webinar, we get an insight to the industry's transformation and listen to clients, manufacturers and recyclers who discuss challenges and possible ways forward.
Since 2020, plastic is required by law to be collected, separated and transported away as a separate stream from construction sites. This poses challenges in terms of sorting and logistics, but also in terms of the allocation and use of the recycled plastic. To reduce the carbon footprint of construction products, there is also a need to use more recycled plastic.
How do you ensure adequate availability of recycled materials at a reasonable price? What happens to the plastic that is sorted out and what do the flows of material look like? How do products made from recycled materials meet traceability and quality requirements? These are some of the questions that will be addressed in this webinar. You will be presented with an outlook on trends and where the development is heading when it comes to the transition that the construction industry is facing, as well as listen to representatives from, among others, Vasakronan, Castellum, the City of Mölndal and Van Werven who discuss challenges and opportunities when it comes to the use of recycled and recycled plastic in construction products.
Welcome!
