Jonas Fahrni

I am a researcher working in biomass depolymerization and chemical conversion at high temperatures and pressures. Since 2018 am I part of the chemistry group at RISE Processum in Örnsköldsvik where we are working mainly with biomass valorization development in the lab and pilot-scale. As a doter company to RISE, we are not only part of national and international research projects but have a strong connection to regional small and large companies where we act as an aid for process development. An example for such work is projects within our R&D council (https://www.ri.se/en/processum/processums-rd-council) where ideas and new products are tested in our facilities. RISE Processum is my first employer after my education at the Zurich University for Applied Sciences where I worked in the field of atmospheric research by synthesizing and characterizing mesoporous silica particles.
