Jacob is a researcher at RISE. His research projects are on transparency in algorithmic decision making, privacy, and ethics in digitalisation. He has a background in Political Science and has previously worked at the think tank Fores with Digital Society issues. At RISE SICS, Jacob has worked with issues regarding the social impact of digitalization in both practical and policy applications, with a focus on issues regarding privacy, as well as dealing with how technology can be used in more ethical ways by the private and public sectors. Jacob has a PhD in Human Computer Interaction.
