Graphene is a unique material showing exciting properties. Electrical conductivity and supreme gas barrier properties are two of many examples. An efficient gas barrier is needed for food packages to keep the packaged food fresh – intruding oxygen may degrade the food, and water vapor escaping the package makes the food dry. This diploma work comprises the modification of the surface of graphene oxide for end use in food packaging. Remuneration will be paid out.
This is a diploma work for a Master of Science degree. Preferably, the applicant should be finishing an education within chemistry, material science, nano-science or such like. Experience in lab work is a requirement.
