Gábor Geréb is a development engineer involved in all aspects of sensor system development (mechanical, hardware, firmware, software, signal, data), and has experience in field deployment of scientific and industrial sensor systems. Before he joined RISE in 2018 he worked at the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) for two years installing and maintaining scientific equipment at the Halley VI and Rothera research stations and also on the field.
Gábor has a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Budapest University of Engineering (BME), where he specialized in acoustics and worked as an Environmental Noise and Vibration Expert for a decade, while he lead a startup project in Source Selective Noise Monitoring and pursued a Ph.D. (unfinished) at BME in the topic.
