Welcome to a workshop on improved energy efficient thickening, dewatering and drying in paper making
As part of finalising the Swedish Energy Agency financed project called DryBoost2020, the project consortium would like to welcome participants to an open workshop the 31st of October, including project result summery and a guided tour of the pilot equipment.
Main targets of the project were to investigate thickening of fibre based strength additives for cost effective transportation, new dewatering and drying operation with a pilot steel belt unit combined with IR-heaters and press. Furthermore, investigation on energy efficient through air drying (TAD), for tissue products, with help of IR-heaters were performed in pilot scale. The project is a collaboration between Albany Int., IPCO, IRCON, Valmet and RISE.
