Determination of biomass in diesel

The method can be used for mixtures of different types of diesel, e.g. MK1 diesel (Swedish standard diesel), EN590 (European standard diesel), HVO (hydrogenated vegetable oil), and FAME (fatty acid methyl ester).

Purpose

By GCMS analysis of biodiesel, approximately determination of biomass content.

To determine the content of fossil-free content (eg. HVO, FAME) in diesel fuel.

Method

We carry out the test by the method SP5345 (GCMS method, SP 5345).
