Analyzes for raw material control

When you buy new chemicals, it can be good to know that the new one is as good as the old chemical. We can help you analyze a number of chemicals.


The quality of incoming raw materials can vary and affect the quality of production. We can help you analyze these. for example latex, OBA, adhesives, metals, lime, starch, fillers and polymers.


OBA, latex and fillers:

  • ISO brightness
  • pH
  • Dry content
  • Viscosity

You can also look at OBA under a microscope and a scanning electron microscope / EDX.


  • ASA (Quantitative)
  • AKD (Semi quantitative)
  • Rosin size (FTIR only qualitatively)
  • Starch -    Analysis of the starch content in paper (then receives both starch from surface glue and from the stock (base paper)). If you want to distinguish how much surface adhesive starch is applied to a paper, you can label it with lithium by analyzing the content of lithium in a square decimeter of the paper.

We can find out which of the adhesives has been used in an unknown product.
