Data-driven lab at ICE

The D-ICE project, Data-driven Lab at ICE, aims to establish an environment / arena for data-driven innovation based on competence, tools and compute power within RISE. The intention is to improve the prerequisites for industry and society functions to create value based on advanced data analysis.

Purpose and objective

The purpose of the project is to strengthen Swedish competence in data analysis and data use, which is the core of digitalization. The aim is also to enable new and valuable innovations based on data from industry and community organizations, using the increasing skills and availability of advanced tools.

Challenge

The digital transformation of Swedish and global society and industry is a major challenge. The capacity to take care of the change and use it for global technical leadership will determine Swedish competitiveness.

Solution

The project is contributing to the solution by strengthening the skills of industry and society in the use of computing and creation of innovation through collaboration between industry, society and academia.

Effect

The expected effect of the project is success and leadership in new technologies, innovations and business models for Swedish businesses and society.
