Involves testing, research and knowledge transfer within the field of ventilation and indoor environments. For example, testing of ventilation units/ heat exchangers, household range hoods/ fans, ducts/ duct details, radiators/ chilled ceilings/ chilled beams, and air filters .
The facility consists of:
- Airflow facility
- 2 airflows, max 4 m3/s
- Cooling capacity 70 kW
- Cooling capacity down to -15°C
- Filter test rig
- Particle separation, Dust feed, Pressure drop
- Airflow max 6 000 m3/h
- Long-term testing of filters
- Test chamber for chilled ceilings and chilled beams
- Household range hood testing
- Chamber for air cleaner testing
