Kerstin is working as a researcher in the Bio-based Fibres group. She has a PhD in chemical engineering and her interests are e.g. functionalized bio-based materials, fiber spinning & characterization as well as wood & cellulose chemistry. She is currently working in projects on solution blowing of bio-based nonwovens and spinning of lignin-cellulose fibers as precursors for carbon fibers.
