I work with technology to convert different types of bio-raw materials into fuels and chemicals, both as a researcher and project manager. I am also the leader of RISE's focus area "Biorefinery and renewable fuels", which means strategic business development, internal coordination and external contacts.
My research projects are of both basic and applied nature and take place in collaboration with academia and industry. My research area covers technology development, often in collaboration with colleagues who conduct experimental research, and systems analysis, especially techno-economic assessments. The focus is on forest-based raw materials and technology that is integrated with existing industry. I am an adjunct professor of Energy Technology at Luleå University of Technology.
