Product tests in extreme climate
Offers European unique opportunities for testing in different climate types – radiant sun, extreme temperatures and different degrees of humidity.
The facility consists of:
- A large solar simulator fitting a private car or truck cabin.
- A solar simulator fitting a truck cabin.
- A solar simulator for components.
- A large climate simulator where temperatures can range between -50 and +95°C and humidity can emulate tropical climate.
- A climate chamber for heat aging fitting a private car.
It is important that products of different kinds can handle all climate and weather conditions. RISE has many years of experience in environmental tolerance. The laboratory infrastructure makes it possible to simulate different climates e.g. desert, jungle or Arctic. We also simulate fast changing weather conditions and can quickly vary the temperature.
