Due to the current situation regarding COVID-19, the course will be held during autumn 2021.
The growth of mold fungi in different products is a quality problem and in some cases the growth of mold may also entail a risk of toxin formation. An identification to genealogy is a good help when deciding whether this risk exists.
At the course, we identify a number of commonly occurring mold fungi for genera and provide a basic knowledge of growth opportunities, pathways and formation of mycotoxins.
The course is held in Swedish.
After the course you should be able to distinguish between the most common mold genera. You also get knowledge about what influences growth, survival and spreading of mold and what risks mold growth can implicate.
The course is aimed at those who work in theory and practice with mold issues in the food industry or other industry.
No prior knowledge is required but accustomed to laboratory work facilitates.
